Adobe Premier How To Create A Project Template Youtube

As the standard of social content continues to rise, the desire to craft professional Instagram Stories is also on the way up. Lucky for you, talented video content creator, Darren Rowlands (aka @mrdrowlands) has made a tutorial with three top tips to help you produce polished posts in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Open up Adobe Premiere Pro, select the New Item icon and click Sequence. To optimise this project for Instagram Stories, choose Digital SLR, 1080p30 and move over to Settings to adjust the Frame Size to '480 by 852'. Then you need to click on the Save Preset button and name it. In the next window, you'll see your new preset has appeared under the Custom folder. So, next time you want to create a new sequence, select it from here.

Drag your footage from the Project window into the Timeline and select Keep Existing Settings. Go to your Program window and click on the visual. You'll see an outline for your video – by dragging at the edges you'll be able to speedily resize your footage. Also, if you want to change its positioning, simply click and drag it. Only want to move it in one direction? Press Shift as you move it and it'll be anchored.

When you're focusing on one particular clip, you can make life easier for yourself by setting up a loop. To do this, simply drag your Playhead to the start of the clip and press I to set an 'In Point'. Then move your Playhead to the end and hit O. Press the Loop Playback icon and then Spacebar to review that individual clip on repeat. Now you can easily analyse your footage and make edits as and when you see the need for them.
